The wiring to the relay will be shorter and you'll probably be using a larger gauge wire. The horn ends up getting more power and working a whole lot better. This is why relays are used. For a given size wire, the more power you try to put through it, the more voltage is lost on the wire due to resistance. Wattage is voltage x amperage.

From the 'B' terminal, there is a yellow wire that goes into the horn relay, and from there goes to the underdash area, turns blue with a yellow stripe, and goes to the horn button. The 64 1/2 turn signal switch only has one horn contact, instead of the two contacts that a 65/66 switch has.
