I am going to install a factory tach in my wife's 69 350 camaro. The car did not come with a factory tach. The one I have has three wires coming from the tach. Light Blue, Yellow, and Orange. Also Could an x11 camaro have the 350 ss package. My wife's car has the same block as an ss only with a two barrell car.

i am doing the same on 69 camaro, american autowire systems kit- ca6907 tach kit says to, black wire to ground, pink wire from tach to an ignition power terminal fuse panel face, brown wire from tach to fuse block location a-x [ you need to see diagram supplied ] and another brown wire connects on a-x location on engine ignition harness fuse block connector, other end to neg.
