Well, that wiring diagram from See-More-Drunken (copying a fellow TDPRI member's lexicon) is labeled "ala" Brent Mason, so it is not wired like Brent's guitar. For one thing, the diagram includes single coil pickups whereas Brent's guitar and the Valley Arts Brent signature guitar have noiseless pickups.

Phostenix: Yes, I'm reasonably familiar with the Brent Mason scheme, and frankly, I was REALLY leaning in that direction at one point, but most knowledgeable others that I've spoken with have discouraged me from using it, apparently because I'm not employing a humbucker (i.e., that I don't need the series/parallel switching of the Brent Mason approach).

This wiring works great with any vintage-output Tele pickups. It’s also great with our Five-Two® for Tele pickups, which session players like Brent Mason and Dean Parks like because they provide great Tele twang, but with a slightly tighter, more focused low end. Man, there are just so many great Telecaster wiring options.
