Wiper wiring So I have a motor but i cant be exactly sure which model it is from. Seems to be a two speed jobby with a park circuit but I couldn't confirm what year Capri it is from. I think it might have 1970 marked on the unit. I have been rewiring my car but am a little stumped as to the correct method to wire up this windscreen motor.

a -- Black-Violet wire -- to main wiper motor via 3way plug - self park facility b -- Black-Violet wire -- to main wiper column switch c -- Black-Violet wire -- to rear wiper switch then rear washer switch in dashboard under radio d -- Black-Violet wire -- to rear loom feeding tailgate wiper motor, self park facility

Capri wiring diagram Does any body have a wiring diagram for an XL model Capri. Also does anybody know the correct wiring for the foot operated windscreen motor pump where when you push the diaphragm the wipers wipe once each press. It’s needed for the Perana and the Haynes shows nothing regarding it.

I've got a 79 Capri/Mustang and I really need a windshield wiper wiring diagram. The car in question was purchased with the wipers inop. I have followed the wiring from the switch to a black box (something to do with wiper speed?) and into the harness under the dash and out to the wiper. The motor will run when it's jumped directly.
