@ChrisR The reason Lance uses 8 gauge wires for the 12+ and 12-, is so that when a person wants to completely use the camper on said 12v DC, the batteries in the truck will completely supply enough current to never drain the camper battery! So, if you stop for lunch, the refer won't kill the battery. Second, you won't smoke the tiny 12 or 10 gauge wires!
