Sending Power to the Antenna

Mine had a square plug with the AM/FM signal and a small power wire. After a little tweaking I cut apart the plug and made a traditional AM/FM wire and then wired the power wire to my head unit's power wire. Here's a shot of my plugs and the antenna on the left. The power wire is the small dot in the bottom center of the plug.

Here is the connector for the stock harness. Notice the black/white wire and then the pink/blue. On the aftermarket harness there is the blue one that connects to the aftermarket radio and then there is a blue loop that goes from the remote/power antenna wire back in to the connector next to it which then goes to the pink/blue.

I have a 2003 Toyota Camry XLE and will be installing an aftermarket radio. The original radio is Model# 86120-AA060 and has the JBL logo on the head unit. I only see a 20-pin white connector and 2 blue antenna connectors (one smaller than the other). The aftermarket radio will have a harness also as pictured.

There is (1) a signal wire from the stereo that provides 12V to the motor when the stereo is on to raise the antenna, (2) a wire that is always hot so when power from the stereo signal wire is shut off, this power source is available to drop the antenna, and (3) a ground wire.
