GP33 Waypoint transfer (From Garmin)

Can I hook up the GP33 to the NMEA 2000 network and transfer over the network, before I disconnect the Garmin? Can I save the old waypoints to the SD card on the Garmin and somehow convert them on the PC to Furuno's format? Then connect the GP33 to the PC and upload? How does the GP33 interface with a PC? What cable is required?

In my brief look at the wiring diagrams Furuno is only using 5 pins but you show as connecting at least 6 or 7 wires together. I'm wiring my Garmin GPS NMEA output (blue wire) to a Furuno 1623 Radar NMEA input. I need assistance in the wiring for the NMEA input to the Furuno. The input cable is a 7-pin with the following colored wires: Red, Black, Green, Blue, Yellow, White, un-insulated wire + shielding wrap.

Very simple; you do need that Garmin 'magic' box with the 8pin plug, and just cut the Furuno end off and wire accordingly to the pics below. That Furuno model number you mentioned is the same thing as the Airmar B744VL, just with a 10 pin connection and a 7'' stem, hence the 'L' at the end.
