Since the wii2hdmi switched chipset from ms9282 to ms9288a this mod isnt worth doing. 720p might look okay but 480i and 480p look crap. Saying that each xbox version is differnt i found 480i looks okay on xbox 1.6 with ms9288a. Do you know the chipset used in pound hdmi cable ?

Any time the hdmi cable is plugged into any device (even if the other device is off), the console will shut off. I unplugged everything except the power supply, I turn on the console, and it will stay on and run fine UNTIL I plug in an hdmi cable (connected to any device), then it shuts off after a couple of seconds.
